16th Annual Race Exhibition

Last month, our 16th Annual Race Exhibition at Classic Mazda drew over 800 attendees, doubling last year's turnout! 👀 I guess you guys like free shirts and Mazdas, huh?

This was the first year for the Hot Wheels Tournament and it was a hit! We had nearly 100 cars competing on our 100 feet of track, spanning six lanes over the CX-90, 30, and M3.

This was also the first year that our friends at BSI Racing partnered with us for the event.

BSI Racing owner, Shea Holbrook, was our MC, and MX-5 cup drivers Selin Rollan and Connor Zilisch came to meet fans and sign autographs. (Connor recently signed with NASCAR’s Trackhouse Racing and at 17 became the 2nd youngest winner of the Rolex 24.) 🏆👀🎊

We are sponsoring Connor for the MX-5 Cup (more below) and he brought his Classic Mazda Orlando MX-5 Cup car fresh from Daytona and let fans sign it before he hits the track at Sebring next month. Can you spot your signature?

We also had 2 cars from the Mazda Heritage collection in attendance. The LeMans winning 767B and RX-7 GTO were blowing up on Orlando Insta stories all night.

But the 76B might’ve been the star of the show… just take a look at that stunning paint scheme!

It was the best Race Exhibition yet. Special thanks to everyone who made this event such a hit: BSI Racing, Over Rice, K-Boss on Wheels, Miniature Car World, N Club Florida, Legends Orlando, Central Florida Rotaries, Orlando Cars and Coffee, Orlando Roadsters, Flis Performance, Full Send Sims, Orlando DJ Group, the UCF Formula Team, Jim Downing, us, and you. 😆

Not sure how we are going to outdo ourselves next year! Reply if you have any ideas. Check out the highlight reel.

If you missed out on the fun, or want to experience it again, check out The 2nd Annual Car Meet at our sister store, Mazda Lakeland. RSVP for a free t-shirt while supplies last.

We Sponsored Connor For The MX-5 Cup @ Rolex 24 in Daytona

We did a thing.

It was our first time sponsoring an MX-5 Cup driver with Connor Zilisch behind the wheel of the Classic Mazda Orlando MX-5 Cup car in rounds 1 & 2 @ Daytona.

Connor and his BSI Racing teammate and former Classic Mazda alum, Selin Rollan, started round 1 at the poll position and led most of the race with Connor finishing 5th.

In round 2, Connor and Selin started off strong again but an ABS failure caused Connor’s breaks to lock up repeatedly and ultimately forced him out of the race. But Selin was able to pull out a podium finish in his teammate’s absence.

So Connor didn’t get a podium in the Classic Mazda Orlando MX-5 Cup car.

BUT!

He went on to win the Rolex 24 as the 2nd youngest ever at only 17.

Congratulations Connor on winning the race we didn’t sponsor!!

Zilisch is looking to redeem himself @ Sebring this month. Perhaps some more signatures on his car will do the trick.

Come sign his re-branded Mazda Lakeland MX-5 Cup car at the 2nd Annual Mazda Lakeland Car Meet on March 12th, from 5 - 8 pm at our sister store in Lakeland, FL.

CX-70: A Closer Look

The first ever 2025 Mazda CX-70 price and specs have been announced.

TL;DR: it’s a CX-90, but trade the 3rd-row seat for massive cargo space, and that’s freakin awesome!

The CX-70 shares a platform with the CX-90 and offers the same powertrain options:

  • Turbocharged 3.3-liter Inline 6

  • PHEV w/ 5,000 lbs. towing capacity
