Zinc Green Metallic Anyone?

Zinc Green Metallic makes its debut on the Mazda MX-5
Most car companies treat paint like an afterthought—just a protective coating to slap on before a car rolls off the line.
But if you’ve ever seen a Mazda catch the light under the bright Florida sun, you know they approach things a bit differently. For Mazda, color is an essential element of form itself.
This month, Mazda announced a striking new addition to their color palette: Zinc Green Metallic, rolling out sequentially across the lineup starting first with everyone’s favorite roadster, the mighty Mazda MX-5.
But hey, Mazda’s obsession with green goes all the way back to their very first vehicle: the 1930s Mazda Go three-wheeler, which was a quirky green color and it also featured a bright green instrument panel

Decades later, that same color inspiration evolved into the legendary neon green-and-orange racing livery of the Mazda 787B—the historic machine that shocked the world by winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1991. If you’ve been to the Classic Mazda Race Exhibition in previous years you’ve probably seen that same car.
Now? Mazda has fancy assembly-line robots perfectly mimicking artisan-level paint strokes to get the multi-layer shimmer we all know and love.
We’re so happy to see Mazda explore with more fun colors. I’m tired of all the grey that’s out there! Let’s keep it up, Mazda!

The Ultimate Florida Road-Tripper: Mazda CX-90

Mazda CX-90
If you’re planning to pack up luggage, load up your cargo area with beach gear, and head out on a summer road trip, you are officially looking at the reigning heavyweight King of the highway.
U.S. News & World Report officially wrapped up its annual evaluations, crowning the 3-Row 2026 Mazda CX-90 PHEV as a grand prize winner in the 2026 Best Adventure Vehicles Awards, completely dominating the premium categories.
The judges specifically praised how the Mazda CX-90 PHEV effortlessly balances rugged utility with absolute luxury-tier cabin refinement.
Instead of driving a noisy, sluggish traditional family hauler, the plug-in CX-90 lets you run on pure EV battery power for local daily errands, then seamlessly switches to the gas engine for a comfy highway-cruising sanctuary.
Beyond the spacious cabin, what really clinched the award for the outdoor crowd is a hidden superpower in the cargo area: a built-in, 1,500-watt AC power inverter outlet.
Because the Mazda CX-90 PHEV carries a massive onboard battery pack, the entire vehicle effectively doubles as a completely silent, zero-emission mobile generator.
That means you can plug high-draw gear like a portable mini-fridge, an electric grill, or whatever your heart desires right into back of the SUV.
It brings a whole new meaning to "glamping," giving you all the power you need for a weekend escape without any of the fumes or the racket.
So what are you waiting for? Come check out the Mazda CX-90 PHEV today!

Catch up on MX-5 Cup at Mid-Ohio Sports Course

If you want to see the absolute purest, most competitive sports car racing on the planet, look no further than the Mazda MX-5 Cup. The cars are completely identical, the racing is notoriously door-to-door, and the action just wrapped up a thrilling set of June rounds at the iconic Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
Even better? Our long-time partners BSI Racing are right in the thick of the national title fight. BSI Racing came out of Ohio firmly planted on the championship podium with race car driver Bobby Gossett in 3rd place on the standings.
After taking home an incredible first place trophy earlier this spring, Bobby survived a chaotic, hard-fought weekend at Mid-Ohio.
Now with a long stretch of the summer schedule still ahead before the finals in October, BSI Racing is only a few strong finishes away from reclaiming the Number #1 spot.
We could not be prouder to have local racing talent representing Central Florida!
